ok so as some of you (literally just my online friend (y if u see this hii ^^)) might know I am THOROUGHLY convinced that two specific Kaya songs are connected. What are these two songs, you may ask? (u probably didn't but idc) Of course, it's Marionette and Kugutsu. Ok, ok, I get ur all "acro wtf ur crazy n delulu as shit" ok my vro hold on and just HEAR ME OUT.

There is SUFFICIENT evidence that these two songs tell the same story. Even though one is depressing and the other one is... (I'm not explaining this shit on my innocent little website go search up the lyrics if you want to see what I mean you freak (irls don't be scared away)) Anyway... here is the evidence. Also yes my writing is hard to read bc I LOVEEEEE USING PARENTHESES N ELLIPSES n if u don't like that then sorry :c

• Both songs are on the Nocturne single (EP??? idfk)
• Both songs are about dolls (namely, marionettes)
• If I can recall correctly, Marionette's pre chorus(?) and Kugutsu's first verse (specifically the third line) both refer to strings attached to a doll (although with veeeeeeery different tones may I add)
• Both songs mention dreams a LOT (The part between the first verse and chorus in Kugutsu, second verse thingy in Marionette)
• (There is also a lot more evidence, but I don't wanna talk abt the lyrics...)
• Kaya-sama himself said that all three songs on Nocturne are about dolls, although I don't know if it's about the same one...)
• (adding this in 12 hrs after I wrote bc I forgor) THE most evidential evidence I have found is that in THIS:

• performance Kaya has two talking segments (before Coppelia and before Marionette) Now, I'm still learning Japanese, but if my memory serves correctly, the last thing he says before Marionette is "Watashi wa anata no ningyou" which, if you know Japanese, translates to "I am your doll". Why is this important??? Because in the chorus of Kugutsu he sings "Omae wa watashi no ningyou" which, again, if you know Japanese translates to "You are my doll" (or smth like that). Now, this is THE best piece of evidence, because it proves my point and I like to be right :) no but seriously you CANNOT tell me this isn't proof of my point.
• Noticed another thing while watching the Ugomeku Bisho performance above, he seems to say "ayatsurarete" a LOT, which he also sings in the chorus of Kugutsu. He also says this in Marionette. "MY THEORY IS REAL MY THEORY IS REAL MY THEORY IS REAL-" I scream as I am dragged into the padded cell-

So, to summarise, both songs tell the same story of a demon and a marionette. Why? Because evidence, and also I said so. If you want to see more evidence, go look at the lyrics. Kugutsu is... special... but Marionette isn't like that lol. I have a broader theory on how the whole Nocturne single tells different parts of the same story, but that one is kinda less plausible and my addict brain is still finding sufficient evidence. I might update this when I do.
